15+ years documenting APIs, SDKs & developer platforms for Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and beyond

Available: End of June 2026
Ideal for: Teams building a developer experience function, scaling docs, or needing someone who owns strategy end to end — including the tooling
I started my career in networking and cloud engineering, writing documentation for system administrators, network engineers, and datacenter personnel. That foundation shaped how I approach technical content — over the past 15+ years, I've focused on developer platforms, writing API references, SDK guides, and developer documentation at Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, GE Healthcare, and LivePerson.
Along the way, I've learned that the hardest documentation problems aren't writing problems — they're architecture, tooling, and process problems. So I built TechWrit AI, a code-aware documentation platform that enforces style guides during generation, and Trellis Docs, a production-ready docs framework built on Next.js. Both are live. Both were built while working full-time.
Currently at Cigna, I lead documentation for Alchemy, an internal developer portal built on Backstage, and own the ContentOps Playbook and enterprise style guide that governs documentation quality across engineering teams.

These samples represent a slice of the templating documentation built from the ground up — covering the tools template builders use most. Each topic was written for a technical audience that needed precision, not hand-holding.
Navigation redesign that reduced cognitive load and improved access to frequent actions—supporting faster task completion and smoother platform adoption.
Platform adoption UX redesign: improved template discoverability with dynamic filters and interactive elements to reduce friction and increase self-service.
A code-aware documentation platform that generates structured technical docs from source code, configs, and specs — enforcing style rules, glossary terms, and readability standards during generation, not after.
A reusable prompt + validation pattern for turning messy technical inputs into structured, developer-ready JIRA feature specs — without sacrificing correctness.
